CoagConsult, established by Joost Meijers in 2024, gives advice and education in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis.
Joost Meijers has 40 years of experience in blood coagulation and diagnostics of blood coagulation. He has worked in several institutes in the Netherlands and the USA, and has contributed to more than 400 scientific publications. He has received several prizes in his career and is recognized as one of the best scientists in both biology and biochemistry, and medicine.
CoagConsult is specialized in the support of biopharma companies who would like to know more about how their (novel) drugs influence blood coagulation.
CoagConsult can also act as expert witness in court cases. Furthermore, CoagConsult can provide training, including train-the trainers, provide input on education materials or help with the interpretation of diagnostic of complex patients with bleeding or thrombosis.
